Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is one of the most common and effective massage modalities. It is designed to relax the mind and body. This soothing therapy provides a combination of light to firm gliding strokes.

Massage oils, lotions and creams are used during this massage to protect the skin from friction.

Benefits of a Swedish Massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

A Swedish Massage is ideal for relief of stress brought on by everyday activities (such as a hectic work schedule!)

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is similar to Swedish Massage. With Deep Tissue, your therapist applies slow, firm pressure to release muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

A Deep Tissue massage is used to improve circulation, increase range of motion, and ease inflammation. It is the perfect modality for rehab of an old injury, or dealing with minor aches and pains.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is a wonderful addition to massage therapy. During this warm and soothing massage, the therapist glides professionally heated stones over targeted body areas.

Heat from the stones quickly relaxes tense muscles, allowing the therapist access to deeper muscle layers, without causing discomfort to the client.

A Hot Stone Massage is ideal for relief from stress and tension, making it a perfect way to unwind.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy Massage is a delightfully soothing and relaxing addition to any massage modality.

Through the use of scented essential oils, this treatment promotes psychological and physiological health.

As she performs her massage, the therapist spreads an essential oil blend over the skin. This deeply penetrates, and provides a lovely, calming, pleasant scent.

Essential oils can be personalized based on the client’s goal for the massage.
